Blogs of my Fellow Colleagues Who Document my Life

Ok so I've pretty much given up on this blog thing (I can't talk about the kids on the internet, and I don't care about writing about anything else) so here are some blogs of my fellow colleagues:

http://roaminginromania.blogspot.com/    This is Kylee's amazing blog about pidgeons and what there is to see in Romania :)

http://soundingsmiles.blogspot.com/      Thanks to Emily for letting me direct you to her blog as well!  She is perfect at making her blog interesting with awesome commentary and she is great about keeping it up to date.

My Traveling Addiction

First off, my name is Breanne (Breezy) Osborn. Half of the people out there know me as Breanne, and the other half (mostly my college friends) know me as Breezy.  I created this blog so that people will be able to follow my adventures in Romania (I leave in May and I'm super excited!).  One thing to know about me: I am obsessed with traveling to 3rd World Countries.  I have been to Peru, Ethiopia, and Kenya on Humanitarian trips and have had the craziest experiences.  Ranging from getting Gastro-intestinal Bleeding to being chased by the African government, I have a lot of good stories :) Just ask me about it.  I will post some pictures and videos of my past trips to get you an idea of what I love to do.

Many people who know me know that I am in love with orphans, and have been since the summer of 2009.  I had some really difficult things happen in my life around that time and realized it was time to pack my bags and finally contribute to society.  I regret to say that before that summer, I had been pretty self-centered and that was why I found myself unhappy.  So if anyone is following this blog, my purpose in making this is to help show you how amazing and rewarding service can be.  Honestly, I wish I would have learned the lessons I've learned from service earlier in my life.  And it so much FUN! The people you meet, the experiences you have; there is nothing like service.  I will be going to Romania in about 6 weeks and I will update my amazing experiences on this blog.

I know that this will be one of the hardest trips I have ever experienced.  For one, it's longer than my 2-3 week trips to Africa and Peru because it is for 3 months.  Some of the kids I will work with have never learned to smile before.  But I'm up to the challenge of getting them to smile :) I would like to thank my dad for having been my financial support for these trips, I wouldn't be able to do this without him or the support from my family.  Also, I'm proud of my brother Dylan for getting into service this year and going to Thailand this summer for Humanitarian work.  And my siblings are so great for wanting to do this stuff when they are older! Even just the local service stuff that they do is amazing. And my goodness, only Heavenly Father knows what is ahead of me, I have no idea! But I know that He will be looking out for me and the kids I will be working with.
